GM 1 Recap: AUDITIONS & TECH INFO

Did you miss last night’s meeting? Was there too much information for
you to jot down or remember? Do you just like hearing from Stage
Troupe every day?

If you just answered yes to any or all of those questions don't worry,
that's what I'm here for!

The following is a recap of our first GM of the season and all the
information you'll need to know!

First things first, here is our FALL 2013 SEASON:

Parents' Weekend: The Drowsy Chaperone
October 18 &19 at 8PM and 20th at 2PM

October 31 and November 1&2 at 8PM

AUDITIONS

SEPTEMBER 9, 10, and 11
PSY B53 at 6-10PM

To audition for Stage Troupe you must pay membership dues ($5) in
exchange for a fancy membership card and come to ONE of these audition
days with an audition form filled out for each show you wish to
audition for. They can be found on our website under forms and

Callbacks

SEPTEMBER 12
PSY Room TBA

Since we know you all our awesome and like to be thoroughly prepared
for auditions, show descriptions and character break downs can be
found on our website on our current season.

Auditions are cold reads, with the exception of our Parents' Weekend
musical for which those auditioning should prepare roughly 16-32 bars
(standard verse and chorus) of music not from the show. For call
backs, Drowsy will be having a dance portion and monologues may be
sent out at the directors' discretion.

Also, ALICE IN WONDERLAND is looking for a MOVEMENT DIRECTOR to join
their creative team. If interested please contact the directors

FALL TECH MEETING
SEPTEMBER 13
The SPACE at 6PM

Learn about the various ways to get involved with Troupe
behind-the-scenes this season!  Whether you are an experienced techie
or are looking to try something new, we hope to see you there!If you
have any specific questions or interest wit regards to tech,  e- mail

Stage Troupe's famous "mandatory" Tech Workshops.... But with a
Fantastic New Twist!

And last but certainly not least, here at Stage Troupe we are a family
and so we have a few things planned so that we can spend even more
time together! Woo bonding!

UPCOMING SPECIAL PROJECTS

SEPTEMBER 17:  The Event Formally Know as "THE ICE CREAM SOCIAL"
Student Theater at 6PM
Join Troupe for some social time where we may or may not EAT FREE ICE
CREAM, hang out, get to know each other, play games, and just have
fun!

SEPTEMBER 27-28: COMBAT
Location Student Theater/TBA
24 hours of original theater! At 8pm on Friday night, a creative team
will receive a prompt and have 12 hours to write an original work.  At
8am on Saturday morning, the other members arrive to learn and
rehearse the show with a newly added tech element! Then everyone
(members of Troupe, OB, Wandering Minds, and Liquid Fun) will gather
to perform and watch at 8pm on Saturday night!

OCTOBER 5: STAGE TROUPE VS. ON BROADWAY KICKBALL
Boston Common, Time TBA
Theatre kids attempting to do sports... It's fun!
